Senior Citizen Exercise:
Learn Hip Extension to prevent falls

Senior citizen exercise is a must for your aging parents. Senior fitness will help extend health, strength and mental alertness. Pair these two exercises with the Hip Flexor to strengthen the muscles on both sides of the leg. These exercises are prepared by an exercise physiologist.

Follow with this exercise:

Hip Abduction

These exercises should be done 3 times a week as part of a Lower Body Workout to improve strength and balance.

If your parents are capable of learning and doing these exercises on their own, great. Introduce these and explain the benefits. If they need the help of a caregiver you can introduce these exercises to get their regular help.
